Reporter opens full screen. Every time.

In what universe would someone program an app to open full screen with no way to change it? It's like the Joe Biden of computer apps. 

That's just embarrassing on a 24" x 36" monitor. 

Any plans to fix this?

I've never tried this with Reporter

but I have other windows (File for example) that sometimes go full screen on me.

In that case, the solution is to right click the title bar and choose "Restore"

Yeah, the RESTORE does work but on next open it goes right back to full screen just as reliably as Joe Biden getting lost walking off stage.

 

What "OTHER" programs can generate setup sheets? Is there something people are using besides Reporter and SET File??

I changed my setup sheets to use a SET file... Is there a way to not use Active Reports for tool lists and other reports?

In the movie theater industry they solve this problem with "screen masking".....you just need some screen masking!!!!!!!!!

Tried that.

Didn't work. Might have been the masking color?

I made one of the original HTML set files for v9 back in the day. 

Not sure how well it would port over to X but I might try. 

The "OTHER" option wants to run an EXE file. I tried using a SET file and it choked so the tool lists and other reports (besides "setup sheets") have to run in ActiveReports.

Man, what an abomination that thing is.

You could just use active reports?? I have had good success with it.
