Cheating Min Bore

Have a project where I need to bore some holes 1.85" deep from a angled face through a clevis features with two ribs. They are .377 +/-.001 in diameter and have a tight true position and inline call out of .0005" to each other. The customer already has a boring system in place. The problem is the min bore of 10mm(.3937) for the correct length bar. they have an EDM so I am getting them to take the 16mm Diameter of the Bar Holder and make it oblong in essences removing .015" from the largest part and that will allow us enough adjustment to make go down to .3637. It is a Carbide bar so rigidity is what it is. Just thought I would share this hack for those stuck with something similar in the future.
