Best Mcam system?

I am sure this has been covered before, but here goes again!

 

I am looking to put a new system together. Whats the ultimate system for Mcam?

 

I am curious what direction to go in regards to the processor and video card.

CPU speed alwas helps. So go with a 3.2 gig with as much Cach as you can get on it.

 

Or look at the xeon chips to.

Also lots of ram 1 gig or more.

 

as for a video card take a look at a Quodro FX 1000.

I'm running an HP 6000 workstation with dual 3.2 cpu. 4 gig of ram, Quadro fx3000 graphics card and dual 20in viewsonic flat panels and it works great.

I bought this system from the Dell outlet store

last week for $1960. I added another gig of ram

for $260. Its running 2 17 in flatscreens. 19in

screens would be better, but I'm out of money.

This computer screams, but the fans are LOUD!
