Changing part diameter

Hi all, I am new to mcam and turning rolling mill rolls. The process is basically reprofiling the same rolls after each use. Is there a way to program something in so i can just change the diameter at the start of the program rather than redrawing and reapplying toolpath in mcam each time that roll comes around?

Thanks.

Need a Parametric CAD software with integrated CAM to accomplish what you are after. Can maybe write extensive Macro do do it, but would need to know at least 100 different things and block out 40-80 hours of time to even consider taking a task like that on and still would not say I am 100% sure it can even be done without again a tons of unknowns made known.

Aha ok looks like I will keep doing it the same, Thankyou.

An easy way to "adjust" your toolpath diameters without having to re-toolpath is to Transform>Translate>Move>select desired geometry and move to desired X/D value>regen toolpath.

But without knowing anything else about what you're asking, this may or may not be a good/useful idea.

Will try this Thankyou.
