O/T Spindle Servo Drive Unit

This is kind of urgent. Our spindle servo unit crapped out. Does anyone have any links or phone #'s for rebuilding Mitsubishi servos? Mitsubishi wants $17,500.00 with exchange for the old one with 2 week delivery . Found plenty of places that have Fanuc in stock, but no Mits...Please Help!!!

Is that thing made out of gold?? What kind of machine is that thing? Man, if one of my machines cost that much to fix, I'd have to scrap it.

Thats the only thing i hate about CNC's, when they break down, it costs an arm and leg to fix them.

Mitsubishi MH50E. Very good and rugged machine until it breaks down

Still no luck finding anyone that repairs these drives.

Hum let me see 2 weeks down time on a machine that runs 24/7 at $50 and hour would be $16,800 of lost time on the machine but would have to double that because now you got yo make it up so yeah would be pretty pissed they did not have one of these stiing on the shelf. If it was a machine under warranty would be screaming back charges and bet the time would drop drastically.

ALso lets not forget, that if the machine is broken down and customer needs his parts asap, he'll most likely take them to another job shop, unless his loyal.

 

But then is there such a thing as a loyal customer anymore?
