Good morning everyone. I'm just getting familiar this tool path and encoutered a strange event. When the cpu was scanning or drawing in the grid (setting up the layout, bare with me here), the system was moving incredibly slow. The hour glass was flashing on and off rapidly. When I moved the hour glass out of the graphic window to the tool bar it moved rapidly. Does anyone know what would cause this? I figure I need a better graphic card or more RAM. Have 512 of ram, not sure on VC. Hope i explained this well enough. I have about zero computer knowledge.

It has been a "trick of the trade" for some time to keep your mouse out of the graphics window while MC is processing. It speeds up many different tasks. I'm not sure exactly what you could search for, but it has been covered here many times before.

Thad, congrats on the Pistons championship. I loved seeing the "great" Lakers get their azzes kicked. Beautiful to watch.
