I am looking for the perfect setup sheet, the standard ones I have been using give way too much information that I don't want and not enough of what I do want. I know every shop has different needs when it comes to setup sheets.

Why not put the basic setup info at the top or header of the program using the post processor?

My NC files do that (and a bit more), and my setup sheet does this.. (actually, this is an older version, but the concept is the same. Done with MS Access and a .set file for posting the data.)

If you were to have five or six operations all with different WCS views. can you have a one button set-up sheet that would give you an isometric view, one for each operation showing toolpath for only that op. as well as post the comments, tools and pertenant info for that op. I know it can be done... most likely in VB. I don't have the skills to make it happen.

For fadel check out bfad9.pst from ftp. Don't forget bfad9.txt. Fanuc version available upon request. It uses the same tool list.

Rekd, if you desire, please put on FTP site in the Setup Folder. I would like to see how you used MS Access and the set file. Do you have a call statement to retrieve data from access?

As of right now, I'm not releasing my MS Access based setup sheet. Not for free anyway. I've got literally hundreds of hours into this thing, and it's not done yet. I'll let you know if I decide to release it.
