help with fillets

i'm trying to fillet a solid model i generated. I need .250 fillets on all the edges but i keep getting an error while trying to fillet. Can anyone help me out? I posted the file to the ftp. I'm sure theres a simple explination but i'm clueless

If you are trying to put 1/4" fillets on "all" the edges, it won't work. Looking at the part from the top the edges would need to be at least 1/2" wide to put 1/4" fillets on them. Unless I am mistaken and not undertanding correctly, otherwise I was able to put 1/4" fillets everwhere else.

no simple explination, mastercam, or any other program, does not like to put that big of radius on a part that small. i run into the same problems with pro-e at times. you want the radius inside and outside?

Try looking at DOG_HOUSE1_HARDMILL.MC9

I got all but one fillet at the peak of the roof.

yeah i was looking for inside and outside so there should be no problems with zero thickness walls

Sorry i messed up the file link. ITs not actually the dog house in the dog house folder. Its under the dog house solid.zip file in the mc9 root directory that i'm concerned about. Though nice work on the actual dog house. The one i'm looking at is a four angled wall box with a top.

 

I'm fairly certain par of the problem is the wall thickness in relation to the radius size however i'm not able to fillet the inside and then the outside of the box. Which i figure i'd be able to do...

hardmill grabbed the wrong file...though it was my bad with the dumb link problem...
