right angle head post

i am working with a right angle head. I have made a post that takes toolpaths from the top view and outputs to the right view. when I use the right tplane the code comes out in the top plane. I want to be able to progam in any tplane and have the code come out in same. I think it can be done using the m1-m9 variables. has anyone tried this yet?

Why not to set Wcs in appropriate way and to get straight right code ?

Try this Wcs top ,tplane/cplane rear (opposite to front plane ) ?

Try a search key words Right angle head. It has been covered a few times.

Pooh! I tried it and my post still comes out in g17.

 

I can post in any plane I choose. I want a post that can follow tplane and keep track of the cutter comp and circular motion using by pointing the tplane.

using the tlplnno and m1-m9 variables should be enough to make a translation cut "tracut" routine.

for mill? router?,what post are you using? I use the gen5x post from the cd for our machine with a 90 index right angle head

Look at the aggregat chook. It is for angle heads
