  1. So M1000 in the program activates the look ahead? My friend has one in his garage unfortunatly he has no books on it so we have been flying pretty blind so far. Thanks Steve S.
  2. Try a search key words Right angle head. It has been covered a few times. HTH Steve S.
  3. "Perhaps we should move the diving class to deeper water" Steve S.
  4. I just started using Mozilla last month but I love it. I can't believe it took me so long to give it a shot. Steve S.
  5. I occationally have a cigar (at home) and occationally have a beer or two. I never drink and drive and sometimes I won't drive if I have had a strong cigar. I can understand people wanting to have smoke free zones(ie resturants, bars, or clubs) But I agree it should be the business decision not the govenrment. quote: I am opposed to Seatbelt and Helmet laws. Personally, I would never ride/drive without either, but it should be a choice, afterall, it their brains that will splatter not mine. I agree with you about the seatbelt laws James, but I like the helmet laws. Steve S.
  6. Ever since the other topic came up dealing with this I switched over to Mozilla. I also took brents advice and used those two programs. They seemed to do the trick and I havn't had one single problem since. Well my wife computer lost some of her links to some games she plays but that was an easy fix. I'll never go back to IE Thanks again guys. code: Not true, with Mozilla I don't even have a problem with them... ROLF +1 Toolfab Steve S.
  7. Congratulations, Take Ron's advice and take some and enjoy it you will never believe how fast the time flies. My son is already 8 months old. DOE!!!! Good luck Steve S.
  8. Brent thanks for that information. I put it to good use. I have a computer that has been collecting dust due to the fact that it was infected pretty bad. But I was able to get mozilla up and running and then use the Hijackthis and CDShredder to clean it up. It worked like a champ. You guys are awsome. I have been using mozilla for the better part of a week and so far I love it. Steve S.
  9. Thanks guys, this topic really hit the spot. I have been getting eaten alive by pop up windows lately. I loaded Firefox and have been very impressed. I loaded it on my home computer and even talked my wife into doing it also. Once she did she loved it. So far my computers have strayed pretty clean, but I figure why take chances. Thanks again. Steve S.
  10. quote: Everyone says the the Lakers are playing like crap and they're struggling. Hmmm, maybe it has something to do with the Pistons' DEFENSE!!! The Pistons are making them play like crap. This definatly part of the reason why the Lakers are playing so bad. But the Lakers are helping the Pistons out a little. I mean why the heck do you let Karl play? 5 on 4 has never been an even match up(I think if Karl is in game 5 at all the pistons are going to fully take advantage of his knee). Why in game four did they go away from shaq? Not to metion that down the stretch the Lakers missed 9 freethrows. I have been pulling for the lakers to win, but this isn't their series. These games remind me of the time Magic's Lakers met Jordan's Bulls. They put up a good effort but the Bulls wouldn't be stoped. I think it is the same situation with the Pistons now. Plus I feel Larry Brown is a much better coach. Steve S.
  11. Congratulations. Good luck with your new night time schedual. I was lucky with my son he slept in 4 hour chunks. Unfortunatly 7 months later he is still doing it. Steve S.
  12. quote: The guy is a miracle worker. Not only that he is widly respected and trusted. When it finnally comes time for him to step down which at somepoint it will come. Whoever takes over will probably be second guessed at every step. Steve S.
  13. I personally think this whole don't buy gas is started from the oil companys. if you don't buy gas one day but the next you do it doesn't hurt anyone. But if we were to stretch it out to a week or two then there would be problems, for us. The oil companys would just reduce the amount of gas they produce. Then when we finally come back to the pumps there will not be as much gas availible so they have to expidite product at a higher price which is passed onto the consumer. If you want to hurt the oil companys buy a prius, walk to work or ride a bike. Any other idea is just silly. JM2C Steve S.
  14. 5 miles one way here. But if the price get much higher I might have to start riding my bike to work or just camp out in the parking lot. I only gas up once every 2 or 3 weeks but when I do it hurts. Steve S.
  15. Isn't Jaws the only villanhenchman that was in more than one Bond movie? Steve S.
  16. I thought G9 enables position check( which would cause the jerk motion) and G8 disables it so it doesn't ramp down the Feed though corners. I might be wrong though. Steve S.
  17. quote: IGES doesn't support solid data. Only surfaces and wireframe. Peter you are right on the money. quote: You can export as IGES solid/surface entities or IGES wireframe(3D curves) this is the one you will want to select. I should have been a bit more specific. When you go to export options there are 2 boxes to choose between. One is labeled "solid/surface entities" the other "wireframe(3D curves)". Sorry about the confusion. Steve S.
  18. I checked this out yesterday when I saw it on the board. I just got 3 e-mails at work about it. It is to to funny how fast stuff like this spreads. Steve S.
  19. quote: The model got to my screen but I can't do anything because it is all solid. When you are saving as an iges click the export options there you can change the way it will export the part. You can export as IGES solid/surface entities or IGES wireframe(3D curves) this is the one you will want to select. HTH Steve S.
  20. My sunglasses Gatorz > Made in the USA Steve S.
  21. quote: Why didn't they Red Flag it when the guy first went down? Seriouly Holy Steve S.
  22. Thanks Mayday Nothing I like better than wiping coffie off my monitor. "2. let me see what the neighbors think before I do somthing about it, dont wanna get em mad" LOL Steve S.
  23. quote: Americans have a long history of being on the right side of history in these types of situations. It is funny but one thing I have notice about how history looks at events like this is whoever wins is the right one. Personally I don't beleive we should have gone to war. But the fact is we did. Whether is was for the right reasons or the wrong ones no longer matters because we have already passed that point. What is important now is the rebuilding in Iraq and getting it done correctly. Not only that but we must continue keeping our nation safe from other terrorist attacks. In the end when it comes to election time I know for myself when I go to vote I will have to consider who I think will be the best at keeping my family, myself, and this country safe. This will not be the only point I consider, but it will weight very heavily on my mind. Steve S.
