There are "surfaces", and "solids". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I suspect that what you are referring to are the spacing of lines on surfaces, as opposed to solids when the shading is off. If you go to Analyse, and select one of the faces of your component, I think it would be described as a surface, rather than a solid.

 

If that's the case, then I'm afraid that as far as I know, there is no way to adjust the spacing of the lines upon surfaces that have already been created (either by yourself, or as an imported file).

 

There is an option to adujust the "surface drawing density" (through the Screen, Configure, Screen page), but that will only affect the spacing of lines on surfaces you create *after* you change that setting, sorry.
