Dynamic point creation

I'm looking for a practical use for the Dynamic poit craetion function. It seems to be just point approximation. I have a pardigm about defining geometry with accurate values.

Put a point (dynamic) on a surface as a ref to see where that point is in the side or front view.

 

Put 2 points (dynamic) along the straight section of a spline and now create a line between those 2 points in cplane 3d. If it's close enough delete the spline.

 

Put 3 points (dynamic) along a circular shaped spline. Now in cplane 3d create a 3pt circle thru those pts. If it's close enough delete the spline.

 

etc. etc.

A dynamic Point does have an accurate value. Ijust may not have the value you want. I believe it's stored in the database with a 16 digit precsion.

Sometimes it is difficult to break a spline in the right place. Put a point dynamic on the spline, now you can 'break-2 pieces' at the point.

 

When zoomed way in on surfaces it can be difficult to 'Gview-Dynamic'. Create a point dynamic on a surf near where you are. Now 'gview-dynamic' pick this point and it will rotate in a more useful manner.

You can also use the 'Endpoint' of a surface for the gview-dynamic rotation point.

 

Lots of uses.......

You would not believe ,what tricky things sometimes one must create only to stitch or blend surfaces .

And I also stick to accurate values ,but sometimes this is a fast way and with good zoom

the deviation can be so smaaalll.
