Can you convert a .mc9 file to a .bmp file? Or is it only .bmp to .mc9?

There's also a free program called capture.exe that I found while browing thru this site. It's a little better then the mastercam bmp file cause you can select certain sections of the screen and save it as different formats. If you can't find it thru google, e-mail me and I'll send it to you.

We also have Screen/ToClipBoard, which will let you send the graphics area (or a smaller 'windowed' section of it) to the Windows Clipboard where it can be pasted into a drawing package such as Paint

Jammer, In your keyboard there must be a button called "Print Screen" May be after "F12" key, it's position changes according to keyboard model. But that key is all you need to convert almost any thing into .bmp

Whenever your need to convert your screen display in to bmp press that "Print Screen" key open paint and press cntrl+v

That's it.

Actually you have to press CTRL+printscreen or ALT+printscreen

 

One copies the whole desktop to clipboard, and the other only copies the active window

I use a program called TraceArt for all of my R2V. It leaves a watermark in demo mode, but is very easy to use and filter the watermark. You can buy the software and not have to deal with the watermark.

Thanks wcc.....'preciate the tip....i will definately check it out. We are real laid back here and end up making alot of license plates, name plates, reese hitch covers, keychains...ect. so a good r2v convertor would save me a buncha time. ~~~~~Shady

No prob... Just be aware that you get a SERIOUS seismograph off of the trace. I just jump into (arcs tangent to 3) and create the first arc (pt-pt-pt) and then (tan-pt-pt) until I clean up the contour.
