Have a few question with Mastercam Lathe 8.1

We have an eurotech lathe with live tooling and c-axis.

I'm currently using the fanuc post for it. But i was wondering when post can it have/or post out special canned cycles.

Such at the rough cycle using G71.

And also chamfer © command c.09 can mastercam reconize this.

does any have a post or in mastercam setup to do this

Open up your post with a text editor.

There are some switches in there which enable

output of canned cycles (0=no 1=yes ).

Also, look in the Misc. Int/Reals. There are canned cycles for C-Axis Stuff.

How about toolpaths, next, canned. Your post will need to support the use of these cycles. This would also be the case for canned drill cycles. Change the switch setting in your post and give it a try. I think only 1 or 2 cycles will work. The others might be "roughed out" and may require further tweeking.

The automatic chamfer and radius calls are not supported by any default posts, and woul be VERY difficult (and therefore expensive) to add as a customization.
