Manual Entry Tool Change

I there a way I can have the post recognize a tool change when using manual entry? I want to preload this tool at the previous tool change. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure what you are looking for. Do you what the tool changer just to stage the tool at the previous tool change?

Yes, I can take care of all moves and tool change using manual entry but I want to stage the tool with the previous tool change.

Have you tried to activate the stagetool variable in your post? That should do the trick.

Martin it right. It should be just a simple switch in your post. Just search for stagetool in your post and change the 0 to a 1. That should do the trick.

Are you activating the tool change in manual entry or is the tool aready changed when you go into manual entry? If the tool is not being changed in manual entry the stagetool switch should work. If you're typing the tool change in manual entry that won't work and I don't know how to fix that.

I am typing the tool change in manual entry and was looking for a method to recognize this in the post. I am using stagetool for all other tool changes. A work around could be to load tool as per normal and drive to a point then start manual entry for the remainder of the toolpath. Thank you for the replies it is greatly appreciated.
