That's a great idea! You guys form a users group and I'll be glad to show up, help out and preview X for you. Let me know then the next meeting is and I'll be there.

I suggest you start a post: "Looking to start users group in Appleton / Oshkosh Wis.".

Any companies in Oshkosh interested in letting us use your confrence room some evening?

See who's interested. It's not as hard as you think. We have a pretty good group forming in the Madison Area. I can help you form a users group, but you have to maintain it (that's why they call it a users group biggrin.gif ). If you have any questions call me.

Hi DaveR,

When I realized that X would be delayed I started on the M3 V9 Training CD. There will be new CD's for X, but most of the toolpath dialogs in X are the same. So what ever you learn will learn from these CD's will still be benifical. I can tell you that when X is released, a new 3D CD will not be the first thing I do. I plan on a "V9 to X Transition CD" first.

Paul B: You should have one of these M3 training CD's now. I sent it to Chris. Did he pass it along?

Mike Mattera,

I have 5 of your CDs smile.gif But what I wish you would put out is more advanced lessons on, 3D wire, surfaces on complex drafting and Solids.

I find I lack more of the drafting/part making knowledge then anything.

Being a machinist for years, I know how to go about jobsetups and tooling to use, if you get my point.

PS. if you put one together, you know I will buy it
