CUSTOMIZE DRILLING CYCLE

Hello !

I have post question:

I would like to get “ I” and “j” elements in my drilling cycle , but not

every time i posting , only when I need it .

So, line suppose look like:

G83 X … Y… Z...R… Q… I… J…F…

This can be easily done. What we do is have a Standard G83 then a G83 IJK as well ni our drillign cycles. Do a search and see what has been said think you will find tons of stuff if that does not help we would need ot know the post and a copy of your drill block to be able to help you out. Might look at MPMASTER post a good post and think it has all of this in the post just a matter of turing them on.

I modded meh HAAS posts to do that. Works great.

 

It's even got error checking...

I guess i got an idea.

I went throuh the serch an found lots off interesting things.

I start changig mill9.txt, but writing i wont did't come out on the oper. table.

Do you have an idea why?

need to change the txt for the post to show up in the drill operations.

The .txt file changse the text in the dialogs. You also have to modify the post (.pst) to do the actual coding.

 

I'll post up a sample in a bit, but basically you have to create a new custom drill cycle.
