dxf conversion

We use Autocad LT 2000 when I try to import a DXF everything imports in arcs, circles, text, but no lines. Any advice? This just started to happen recently.

The only reply I have for you is dump AC and purchase SolidWorks or ProE.

What file format does LT output in? 'Cause if it's .dWG Mastercam has an exellent translator direct for .dwg. It's 100 bucks but well worth it. If it used to work and now doesn't, please zip and e-mail me with the dxf and I'll see if there is anything wrong with it. I can quickly tell you if it is your LT or your MC that is misfiring.

Some of our team uses AC ,and we have been using .sat conversions .These have been the best files I have ever received from AC.

As for the DXF problem is it possible that the AC user reset the locks, or defaults lately.
