I'm having some problems with some coding...

I did, I drew it on a graph and then wrote the code for it. Here's the code if it might be needed.

N05 G04F15

N06 M26

N07 G90 X 0.2 Y 1.6 Z -0.2

N08 X 0.9 Y 1.6

N09 X 1.6 Y 1.4

N10 X 0.7 Y 1.4

N11 X 0.7 Y 0.7

N12 X 0.1 Y 0.7

N13 X 0.1 Y 1.1

N14 X 0.3 Y 1.1

N15 X 0.3 Y 0.9

N16 X 0.5 Y 0.9

N17 X 0.5 Y 1.4

N18 X 0.2 Y 1.4

N19 X 0.2 Y 1.6

Haven't tried this code out yet. I made the letter bigger so I hope it works better.

The program I'm using allows me to verfiy the work that is about to be done to the wood. When I look at the results of it, the J is small. I haven't milled it yet.

The program I'm using is not your normal Cad program, it's like CAD, but you write the code into the computer. You first do a scale drawing and then you find the measurements and then write the code. After that you input the code into the computer. You can either run it, or verfiy your coding. I verfied it and the 'J' came out small. It was a capital J, but the size of it was just small.

That is what my problem is.

Hmmm, never thought about doing that. Thanks for that there Stephen.

Oh yeah, guess what ya'll. I looked at the problem and someone in class mentioned maybe I should double my measurements. So I did and it still came out wrong. So I only doubled my x measurments and it got from the bottom right hand corner to the top center. Which is good. My teacher then mentioned that the measurement in the computer is inches...and the measurement on my graph was a 10th of an inch. That's small! So I drew my J bigger and rewrote my code. It came out a bit bigger...so that is good. I got the J coming out...and I even got it to pause at the beginning....But now. The spindle wont even start! My teacher said he'll look into it. So he's looking at my coding and the book (which has some of the code defintions in it) to see what the problem is.

Ya'll have been a help and I thank ye.
