Haas post

Hi Gang

 

Have not seen a Haas Lathe specific post. Any suggestions as to which MCAM supplied post will work best with our SL-10. Is there a post available??

The generic Fanuc post will give you good numbers.

You may have to edit it some to get the tool statements to match your personal preferences.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have noticed that the numbers seem to be correct, but I find that the general Fanuc post does not follow the Haas programing manuals. It is very confusing to both me and my students. Surely someone must have written a Haas post by now since they are such common machines.

 

I am reticent to rewrite the post. One is never sure what damage may ensue.

Seeing that your an instructor, you should contact the Educational Division to assist you in obtaining a post. That should put you in good company to get all the help you need. HTH
