DWG/DXF conversion error

When converting Autodesk files, MC crashes when importing the second file. Does anyone else have this problem?

If you mean to say that you try to read 2 dwg or other autodesk file one after other in the same file, then it's doing perfectly fine. I don't have maintenance though.

Yes, I continue to have the same problem.

 

I thought it had something to do with the Scale factor in the "Autodesk Solid File parameters" screen. Mine defaults to "MM to Inches". I was having some success with "No change", but that has not worked either.

 

I was just able to crash MC by trying to import 2 consecutive Autodesk files. It does crash fast, & I'm able to re-launch it right away. Importing then works the 1st time, but will crash again on the 2nd try. (I convert the 1st file, save it, do a File_New, then import the 2nd, & crash?)

 

At this time, I have not resolved it either.

Yes - this is a known bug. It can crash if you read more than one DWG/DXF file which contains solids within the same Mastercam session.

Unfortunately, it requires, release of a new V9 .EXE to fix it, and there are currently no plans to do that in the near future.

It had been corrected for X.
