version X solids

Since version X has been debute at some shows can someone tell me, has the solids side for design improved? Has it become more like solidworks? Meaning more parametric.

It is very good to me for solids. I like the custome things we can do with thing and then there is the other thing that make that thing even easier. I also like the adjustment thing that is there to make the other thing that is tied to work very good also.

With the mouse thing pointed to the icon thing, and the icon thing connected to the screen thing and screen thing connected to the solid thing.

I don't understand the silly secrecy regarding a product that has been openly displayed at IMTS and WESTEC.....

 

The answer to your question is that the CAD portion is better in several ways than V9, but certainly it is not as advanced as Solidworks. It is not parametric.

Hey while we're on the subject, will X have file warnings so two people can't open the same file at the same time, without one being made read only?

 

And will it support the windows style .bak backup file?

Well that little thing called an agreement between ma and CNC and if they wanted what it can do out I am inclinded to think they would have put soemthing here but since they are tight lipped I will be so as well.
