Use a solid for verify bug ?

When using the select solid option, if you have the level turned off that the solid is on, it does'nt show as stock in verify.

Still don't use X but this is what i think:

Yes => Not a bug

No => Clearly is...

Stock definition in X is still a bit hit and miss as far as I have seen. Try using 2 machine groups with stock defined differently for each. It won't adjust the verify stock even if you select job setup when verifying ops in different machine groups.

I usually draw my stock as a solid on a different level, and then leave that level off. Otherwise you can't see your part!

 

The way verify is now, with having to make sure that your solid stock level is ON, it's still easier to save said stock solid as a stl, and then use that a stock def.

How about just leaving the solid unshaded instead of turning off the level your solid is on ? You can still see your part.

Have you tried to blank the solid and leave the level on? Will it show up in verify like that?

I just use the bounding box. In Verify it turns it to solid stock anyhow so what does it matter if its solid in a regular view?

Yup, only 1 solid for verify, and level has to be on. Yup it's a PITA. I have a mold cavity with 6 inserts in it. I know you can only pick 1 solid for verify, so I created stl file. When I go to verify on it, it wouldn't show up on screen till I turned off the use true solid box. Now I verify and it looks good, but I want to see the backside of a feature, but it won't let me rotate, zoom or anything. Is this just the way it is? Or am I doing something wrong?
