How to draw pulley profile in MC8 or MC9?

Hi

 

My customer required a pulley to be fabricated thru CNC and i only got the pulley info on a pdf format.

But I need to draw the pulley (just like gears) before i can program the machining.

Can anyone advise on this? As the option in master8 or 9 don have the sub-program to create pulley profile unlike gear.

You can not read a .pdf into Mastercam so you will need to either get the drawing in a different format that Mastercam reads or draw the part yourself.

You will need to post more information (like a pic of the part) if you need help in figuring the procedure for drawing your part.

I understand that Mastercam can't read pfd format...

I have tried coverting the pdf to dwg but the convertion is not correct....(thought of converting the file and scale the profile according to the specification)
