Operations Manager in X

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems selecting the folders in the Operations Manager in Mcam X. Sometimes I have to click on the folder 2-3 times before it becomes active. It is even worse if I am trying to select several folders (out of many) at once. Is there a fix or is it just me?

I have updated all my patches as well.

This is fixed in the the latest MR1beta.

In the meantime, when you start having trouble

try clicking in the graphic area. Sometimes this wil help.

I've had the same thing happen, I think I usually hit the select all folders icon and then click on the folder I need and that works for me.

Same here Ron, Select two or three times b-4 it allows you to actually pick the folder

About 50% of the time, when I hit Backplot, for instance, my cursor changes to a crosshair and the button looks pressed but I get no backplot. I can click in the graphics area, as you suggested, and get my arrow back so I can try again. Is this the same issue?

I don't know. I haven't had that problem.

I have noticed that with very large files

of files with large parts, backplot may take

15-30 seconds to come up. In cases like this,

clicking in the graphics area will back you out of the backplot command.

I suppose you might have the same problem with small parts on a slow computer??

Yes, I had the same problem with the backplot. We just purchased new computers last week - nicely beefed up I'm happy to say - so I don't think it's the computer.

Gcode, you referred to the MR1beta - does this mean that this will be fixed in the next service pack?

MR1 is currently expected to be released on Dec 15. It will be fixed in that release. You must be a Maint customer to receive it. It will then eventually be included in the next service pack, which will be available for everyone.
