Z depth not "sticking"...

It's been going on since original X install but I wasn't sure if it was me doing it or not...

 

In Helix Bore parameters when you change Z depth, then click on another tab ("Toolpath parameters" or "Rough/finish parameters") and go back to "Helix bore parameters" the depth is not what you changed it to.

It happens also in "Circmill" toolpaths

 

Anyone seen it ?

That used to happen in V7 all the time.

 

After you change the depth, hit enter or click in another field. See if it sticks then.

try hitting enter or click in another field before changing "tabs". Think: finalize the change. I just tried it and it worked for me.

Hitting enter puts it in there for good, but I'm wondering why Helix and Circmill parameters behave differently then any other toolpath

Yeah, I just tried it on a drill depth and noticed the you're right Mark.

They may behave differently because differnt programmers write code differently. On such a large project you must figure on multiple programmers
