Hi

(In 1989)

I used a pair of dial calipers to make the outside shape.Use a self fixtureing machineing style, like .250 thick material but only cut .248 deep.Tap two holes in the back for mounting on the truck. I used a softer alum. so I could bend it to the shape of my grill.I also scaled it down to make keychains.

If this were today I would by my coworker the bowtie.

The girl outline i used when our boss wanted us to

make a sign with our names and our title info

I put a copy of the Chevrolet logo on the ftp site. Its in the MC8 directory under the name of Chevrolet_logo.mc8. If anyone ever needs a logo from a major company check out this web site.

http://www.logotypes.ru/default_e.asp

They have logos for most major companies in Adobe Illustator format. Its easy to export them from Illustartor or Corel Draw to a dxf file. Then into mastercam. I do a lot of engravings in molds and have found many of the logos I need here. cool.gif
