MCAM 9 PARMETERS

I cant seem to keep some of job set up paramters like: use tool's peck, step, coolant and assign tool numbers sequentially, to stick (goes back to defaults).

Toolpaths page... Right click, options, edit common parameters.

Screen >> configure >> NC Settings Tab >> Operation defaults button >> Open your default file >> click the job setup button

 

Set everything you and click OK all the way.

 

Next time you start MC up it will read the default file and set your default settings

Even after doing what the guys suggested above (which will fix it), don't be surprised if you open an old file prior to making this change and the settings are jazzed up again. I've had problems with old files that have "number tools sequentially" checked because it was checked when the file was originally created. It's like they're possesed.

Oooohhhh, I go thru this ALL the time, even bringing them into X. The old setting come in, at least it's only for that file and doesn't crap out your defaults.

 

They guy before me had no idea what so ever how to setup the default on the system, so old files, grrrrrrrrrr.
