Using X MR1

I have a level with 'alleged' entities, but cant see them. I want to get it off my level list. any tips? Tried a regen display list, but no good there.

Tried Screen, Stats, but no entities there, when only level in question is on.

I have the same thing from a DXF file I imported.

It says 180 (approx) entities but they are not visible and they won't select in a window to allow deletion.

I don't know if this may help or not, but have you checked to see if there are blanked entities?

With the level turned on:

Select Screen->Un-Blank Entity

 

You may also want to try clicking All->(checkmark Entitites) then select each of the options in the lower pane. Make sure that the level in question is the only active one or you will end up selecting everything you want to keep as well.

I was having problems with IGES files in the ways you guys are describing ... The blanked thing was the way to go to fix the file.

One thing to note on this topic is that deleting those blanked entities can sometimes get you in trouble.

 

If you want to clean up your level manager I suggest moving all those blanked entities to their own level. Then the levels you are using for your visible geometry will report the correct number of entities.

I've had the same problem with some DXF and DWG files. I tried unhide, unblank, select all, select just the level in question, and every other combination I could think of. I think they must be dark matter entities and I need a select all 5th dimension option.
