You can also cheat (like I do) and add this to the top of your post (under the first line):

pprep$

fastmode$ = no$

(Do a search for pprep$ first and just add the fastmode$ = no$ in it if it exists)

Then you can just comment out the fastmode$ line to turn it off (or delete the two lines altogether when done "tweaking" the post).

Paul,

I tried your shortcut and can't get it to work. My post is a v9_mpmaster. I turned off the existing fastmode line and then added what you posted. The control def. has the post debug unchecked. If I go through the run around to enable the debug everything works fine but your way would make life a lot easier.

Here's what I have;

code:

[post_VERSION] #DO NOT MOVE OR ALTER THIS LINE# V10.00 E1 P0 T1144700722 M10.00 I0

#pprep$

#fastmode$ = no$

# Post Name : MPMASTER

# Product : MILL

# Machine Name : MACHINE

# Control Name : CONTROL

# Description : IHS MASTER GENERIC MILL G-CODE POST

# 4-axis/Axis subs. : YES

# 5-axis : NO

# Subprograms : YES

# Executable : MP v9.17

# Post Revision : 9.1.03296 (MC_FULL.MC_MINOR.YYDDD)

Actually everything looks indented with X editor compared to the old CIMCO smile.gif

Edit: The # signs were removed when I tried.
