Video card help. ASUS AX800

Morning all,

We have installed MC on another PC due to a HD bombout and are having problems with the grapfics. Hardware acceleration is off in MC. Screen in verify skips between the verify screen and the actual background when revolving the view and does not refresh the screen. Ideas? Anyone elde using this card? I noticed in the hardware manager that there is 2 listed. Does this mean anything?

You may want to get a second opinion, but I think you can delete both of them and reboot. Your computer should "find new hardware" and install the appropriate drivers for what it finds, assuming you're running XP.

Running 2000. We did a driver update and the latest is from 2004????? WTF??

Make sure you have Direct X 9.0 installed on the machine. The original X disc installs check for that and update if neccessary, but the newest

downloads do not.
