MC Enhancement Conference in Michigan

I'm probably not going to make it, were way over booked here, would be nice to meet a couple of you other Michigan MC'ers though, besides the few I already know scattered all over the state.

It was good seeing you again, Dan.

 

I also had the pleasure of meeting Doug Nemeth from CNC Software. He did a nice presentation on multi axis toolpaths and machine simulation. He also had nothing but kind words about my forum participation. Doug, flattery will get you everywhere. Steel Surgeon said it best after Jimmy Wakeford and Katie visited our shop last summer. You see these people's names at the forum and when you finally get to meet them in person, it's like meeting a movie star.

 

Overall, it was a very informative seminar. I picked up a few tricks, had some interesting conversations, and as usual, the food was good. For those who are attending the other seminars, bring some paper to take notes.

 

Thanks to Axsys for putting this together. It's definately a worthwhile experience.

Future enhancements too. Mainly, machine simulation.
