Using power keys with Analyze-Position

When analyzing multiple locations, the power keys only seem to work with the first point selection. After that, it uses the mouse position. Can anyone else confirm this?

Steve,

Create a line with endpoints at X0Y0 and X3.Y3. Now click Analyze-Position, press "E" and click near one end of the line and press "E" again and click toward the other end of the line. Is your second point location correct?

I find it works fine?

Analyze distance hit E select line hit E again select near other end of line.

Hit E select near end of line hit M select near mid point.

When you hit your Power key make sure the mouse is not near any geom because the Auto curser Auto select function will automaticlly be picking up a point and will overide your power key.

Say you hit E but your mouse is sitting near the mid point of the line your mouse will have a little line with a X through it if you now select that line your actually selecting Mid point instead of the End

The problem is after the dialog boxes for Analyze -> Position or -> Distance is open. If you try to analyze another position or distance when the dialogs are open, the power keys do not work.

As Thad noted, it's being fixed in the next release, so no sense in beating a dead horse IMO.
