CRASH REPORT ERRORS

Anybody else getting errors while generating crash reports ?

 

Since installing MR2 when I crash I get 2 boxes asking if I want to send a report and when I try to send them both there are errors...(I think errors are only on the second box but not positive)

 

I wonder if that has anything to do with my dual core processor...

The errors are in fact only from the second box.

 

The errors are:

 

mastercam.dmp not found

errorlog.txt not found

registry.rgs not found

Sometimes when a crash somehow generates 2 error reports, after you send the first one, the information the 2nd one is referencing is already gone. Been sent. I think that's why you get the error on the 2nd messgae.

Should I send every crash report or just the first one.(This one file crashes reg.)

(i mean one for every crash incident , not the muliple crash report windows that appear.)

 

Can i view the files that are sent to cnc?

 

Is the mutiple crash report windows for the same problem?

Are these crash reports helpful to cnc or sending the file in a email better?

Yes - these certainly are helpful, but make sure that you put as much information as possible about what you were doing at the time into the field where you can add a message.

 

Also, if it's possible, it often helps to send QC the part file you were working on at the time (but since it's crashed, you may not have that in the same state as when it crashed) and let them know that you submitted a crash report about it.

same here...actually I think Ive had it since the 1st version of X

Actually you're right Zero, had it since 1st version of X. Is this only happening with dual core?
