TOOL CRASH WARNING

WHEN THE BORING BAR EXITS AFTER FINISH PASS, WE WILL GET A TOOL COLLISION WARNING AND MASTERCAM ASKS FOR A NEW EXIT POINT. IT'S LIKE THE BAR WANTS TO GO STRAIGHT HOME WITHOUT FIRST MAKING THE RAPID MOVE OUT OF THE PART. IT WILL SOMETIMES DO THIS AFTER THE ROUGH BORE, AND WE HAVE CHANGED THE ENTRY DIRECTION OF THE FINISH PASS AND IT HAS SOLVED THE PROBLEM. WE CAN FIX IT EACH TIME BY PICKING A POINT THAT WILL GET THE BAR OUT OF THE PART WITHOUT CRASHING BUT THE TROUBLING THING IS THAT AS SOPHISTICATED AS THE SOFTWARE IS, YOU WOULD THINK WE MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG TO KEEP GETTING THIS WARNING/PROBLEM!

4X4mazda,

Not for nothing and I could be way off base, which if I am I'm sure someone will point it out to me.

In another thread you stated you work for a reseller.

Aren't resellers supposed to somehow identify themselves?

I could be wrong.

John,

I thought beta testers were required to use their name (and company name?) and resellers were the only ones eligible for a company logo under their name; before 200 posts. Kinda like having an avatar with your first post. That was my take on it. I think it is a good idea to identify yourself if your a reseller.
