Mastercam V7 on newly formatted PC

I never used V7, before I go do this installation just want to ask is there any special requirements other than the V7 installation CD? drivers, etc. i need to prepare?

It was my first full time job version .

You will not like it ,Yogesh ,it is not assosiate at all .

Every change in parameters and you need to take your geometry one more time .

Use an old trick of mine :

Color your surfaces different colors Drive surfaces blue ,check yellow it will help you retake your geometry fast (You`ll need it even if you change your feed and speed )

Maybe that's the original V7, but I don't recall that from V7.2c, the first version of MC that I used. It *has* been a couple of years though.

If you are installing on a PC with Windows XP (Sp2 I think) then you will probably have to install later Hasp drivers on that machine before V7 with find the dongle. You can download them from here: http://www.mastercam.com/Support/Downloads...les/drivers.zip

I carry the driver.zip file everywhere I go in my thumb drive.

You will for sure need it if it is WinXP the drivers still get these calls.

Ver 7 Thad? Man you had it good. I started on ver 5.5. It rocked in it's day. I still have guys here who say Version 6.12 was the best ever. Of course, they aren't programmers anymore. Lol!
