nope,didn't lose anything,a warning box came up askiing if I want to delete all entities not associated with a toolpath??I said no & it created a huge text file called big dump.

If you hit Ctrl-D while in the Operations Manager, a file called BIGDUMP.txt will be created and automatically opened in the default editor. BIGDUMP is a debug tool that most users should never need. It is more likely to be used at CNC Software to quickly find out information about your part. The only time this might be needed is if you contact Technical Support and they ask you to run it.

sounds very similar to V9/op.mgr/ctrl+shift/double right click in grey field to display contents of binary nci. Has about ten different functions.

How is the used for post modifing or debugging?

 

I created one of these files and looked it over. It looks like its all geometry related attributes. How does apply to posts?

Debugging.

 

 

Periodically you'll get someting unexpected and you can check the NCI file as well as geometry attributes. Good stuff if you know what yuou're looking at.
