How to cut Garolite?

Has anyone out there cut this stuff? What do I treat it like?

Garolite G10?

It's not bad really,I normally use coolant to keep the dust down.

If cut dry that crap will give you a headache.

 

It has a tendency to chip,because of how brittle it is.

The glass in it will want to dull your endmill,bt don't let that scare you,I have pretty good tool life.

It likes to burn up hss drills though.

Try to use Bullnose endmills wherever possible to prevent chipping.

Harvey Tool-Make great endmills for palstics both soft and hard. I have used it on G10 before.

A great endmill for this material.

How about tapping I have some M5 holes I need to put in. Can I use standard taps for this stuff?
