Good afternoon

 

I think that this thread already exists somewhere but I did a bunch of searches and didn't really come up with much, so here we go again....

 

I'm looking at replacing the right-angle driven tools on my 2001 Okuma LT-15M with double-end units [they are currently single-end ER32 units] preferrably with some kind of quick-change system. I am currently looking at Exsys and WTO units [i looked at Alberti / Koma but they only make singles] and I am wondering if you all have experience with different units, or if you run units made by the of the manufacturers I listed.

 

All experiences, good and bad, would be much appreciated.

Alberti/Komas here. Use them on our Mori's. Not bad but we have found that if you max out the diameter recommendation you will run into problems with them.

exsys heads are great with good service.

genie has them on ther LT's and LU's

Sorry Chris, i re-read your original post. Ours are single. Although good heads just not what you are looking for.

I get stuff from Gromax sometimes. Quality seems ok. Delivery is always good. Communication in the english language is somtimes a problem.

Have you looked at the Carboloy stuff. We use them on Intergrex's with good results.

wto milling heads are good we use them on our moris and okumas. We also have a woodruff cutter head which works great $$$. Our other live tooling is from mori.

I am trying to get in touch with WTO, put in a contact request on their website Wednesday, hopefully I'll hear from them soon.

 

How long have you run them? Do you do any maintenance on them?
