X2 Quick Mask Toolbar

FYI,

You will read that there is a new toolbar in Mastercam X2 called Quick Mask. If you migrate your old .mtb file from Mastercam X and overwrite the default, you will not see this new toolbar. Just go into Settings-Customize and in the Toolbars dialog box select Category/General Selection and create a new toolbar with the Quick Mask functions that you want. You will love this new feature!

You are right Steve, that is a very nice feature. Thanks for pointing it out.

Be sure to read the "What's new" document in the documentation folder. If you left click on a quick mask button, it is like using the "All" selection mask option. If you right click on a quick mask, it puts you in the "Only" selection mask mode.

 

Don't forget the new "Select all Xform group" and "Select all Xform result" masks.
