X2 Xform/ Translate

I'm having trouble with this function.

It goes though all the motions but when its over,

nothing has been moved or copied.

Is anyone else seeing this???

Even with drafting dim!

I figured it out.

I've got a point toolpath using a bunch of points

and I needed to move them .040 inches.

 

As long as the points are associated to a point toolpath, Xform/Translate cannot move them.

I can move then with Xform/Project, but not Translate.

 

Looks like a bug to me.

huh?...your hitting enter and then it goes back?...or the wireframe box just disappears?

If you use Xform/Project and move one point,

the toolpath will go dirty and you can move them

all with Translate.

Any entity associated with a clean point toolpath

cannot be moved with Xform/Translate.

If the point toolpath is dirty, you can move them.

very strange stuff.

I closed the file, then opened it to show

a friend my latest bug catch and it worked perfectly

I had somthing simular happen, restarted mastercam and it was fine

I just experienced the same problem today when trying to move some detail in Y and there is no toolpaths associated to the geometry. Everything worked fine last week...
