3D tool path advice

Recommended Posts

I am working on a fairly simple plastic part. I am having trouble with the cutter cutting a lot of little ghost areas. There should be no reason to cut this but it still does in the finish shallow tool path. Also any advice on some different tool paths to try would be greatly appreciated. I posted the part on the ftp site. Mas106m600

are you using a boundary?

and like Hardmill said loosen up your gap settings,

also try changing your advanced options eg. roll cutter.

Only change one thing at a time to see where it is being told to be goofy.

It happens.

Lee.
