Help, too much way lube

Our Mori SL-15 goes thru about 2 oil tanks of lube per day.

I need to change the timers, but I can't find where to do this.

I've checked the parameters...don't see it there.

All I see is in the diagnostics book but I forgot how to read that ladder stuff a long time ago.

I think the control is Yasnac i80.

Anyopne know how to change the settings for this?

how long is it between cycles. If it is a broken manifold it will just pump at lot more fluid per cycle, it still will cycle normally. Were is all the fluid coming out?

4 minutes between cycles and pumps for 30 seconds at a time.

The fluid is dripping off of the ways, which I think is normal, but the coolant is nasty from all of the oil.

I have a Mori SL-15 also.

Same exact complaint, uses lots of way oil.

Checked with the factory a few years ago.

Result= there is no way to change it.

I found the parameter and messed with it but it would not let me change it as I recall, or it

simply did not affect the output of oil.

So, I skim constantly and buy lots of way oil.

Bummer!!

Spoke with others over the years and they all said yep, thats the way it it.

I think Mori set it up this way to protect the warantee for those that would under oil it.

As a former employee of Mori... they definitely err on the side of keeping the machine well oiled. But you should be able to go a day or two without having to refill the oil vessel. That does seem a bit excessive.

It is adjustable though. We had a customer that machined ceramic. The cutomer wanted the oil to run constantly and Mori was able to oblige them, so I gotta believe you can go the other way.
