C-Hooks for V9

Hi folks,

I just want to know what C-Hooks have been updated for V9, especially MoldPlus ,Catia Read/Write, ReversePost , APT from 4D Engineering.

I would suggest getting in touch with your reseller. They will have all the information you need, as well as answering the questions you have about V9 Enhancements. They may even have an update course, as we do, to attend and learn all of the new things about V9. As with the initial release of V8, some C-hooks have been included in the menus for V9. As far as Moldplus and some of the other 3rd party products, it usually takes some time to develop those products for the newest release of Mastercam. This is because those 3rd party developers need to work with the full production version of the software to fine tune their products. Inquire of your reseller for the release of 3rd party products for Mcam V9.

There is a new version of moldplus available now,it has some new electrode maker

enhancements.Nice add-on.

Have you tried MoldPlus 8.x with Mastercam 9?

Did it generate errors or something?

We're about to upgrade to MC9 and want to know if it's necessary to upgrade our moldplus too.

current config: MC 8.11 level 3 + solid

mold plus 8.01.02 level 3 + solid sep + electrode maker + catia write/read 8.1.x

I recieved an E-mail the other day regarding this,our V9 isnt here yet and an applications person from Moldplus dropped me a line stating we should upgrade moldplus also because its designed for v9,recommended using previous version with our MC v8.1

Moldplus and Catread will be ready for Mastercam V9 very shortly.

 

The current release of Moldplus Version 9 is for Mastercam 8.1.1

 

The Moldplus Version 9 for Mastercam 9 is around the corner. It is currently in the Beta stages since all is still early with Mastercam V9 release. So, it is not ready yet for release.

 

The Catread for Mastercam 9 is also not avialable yet. Also around the corner. The current version is still for Mastercam 8.1.1

Hi,

please do not use Moldplus v8.x or v9.x, designt for Mastercam Version 8.1.1 in Mastercam v9. Most of the Untrims and surface extensions will not work.

We are very close for rel. a v9 Moldplus for Mastercam v9.
