V7Colors Chook

[RDub]

Does anyone know how to reverse this chook? I had done it in the past I thought. Cant remember how it was done.. Or perhaps I was dreaming.

In X, you need to go under the colors option in the geometry attributes section and click on the reset option

I am in X2 Where can i get the Geometry Attributes?

Ok I found Geometry Attributes, But no reset button

Do a search, this was an issue already brought up.

That did not fix the problem... I think it has changed from X to X2

when I hit the reload button in the color menu in the status bar, nothing happens and there is not a reload button under config.

 

I tried clicking the reload, opening config, save as, exit Mastercam, Reload mastercam. Nothing Doing!

 

Any Mastercam guys know how I can reverse this? I was going to reload my config file from a Zip2Go that I have but it was created in X not X2. I am not sure what changes I have made since that last config file, so I will use it as a last resort.

Hardmill, I did the search last night. Most of them were talking about X not X2

Var 1:

1. Open "mcamxm.config" with a text editor(make a backup if you want).

2.In [colorS] section delete the custom colors section (from line 5516 to 5755). It look like this:

 

5516. Custom color 16? 0

5517. Custom color 17? 7864320

.

.

.

.

5754. Custom color 254? 34695

5755. Custom color 255? 8882055

3.Save file and open Mastercam again.

 

Var 2.

Delete mcamxm.config and open again Mastercam

All your config modification will be reseted.

there are no custom colors under the COlors section in X2

AHHH I copied the file name from your post and didnt notice you were using the metric config file! I opened mcamx.config and i was able to delete the custom colors! Thanks Griveous74!
