C,P toolpaths auto change to current T,C?

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

Is there away for me to have MC reset my toolpaths Planes to my current WCS?

I.E., I have operations on the top of my block,I change my wcs to the Bottom

along with a new origin. Now I copy and paste into my new toolpath group the old toolpaths But

I have to manually reset all of there "Planes" to the bottom myself.

Is there an auto reset to current Wcs or something?

Thanks

Tony

Select the operations, right-click, edit selected operations, edit common parameters.

In the dialog box, click on the "planes" button. Click the little double right arrow button in the lower left corner TWICE so you can see your WCS, Cplane and Tplane. Turn off the "display relative to WCS" check box.

Now click on the Named View button under WCS and select bottom.

Use the transfer buttons to copy the Bottom WCS to your Cplane and Tplane.

Hit Ok, and regen your ops.

I forgot about Import.. cheers.gif

Import was "Broke" in MR1

I had abandoned it since.

Colin,

I have done it your way in the past

And sooner or later I would forgot to switch one of the toolpaths out of the bunch

and although it would verify

it would be cutting the vice up on the Machine!! biggrin.gif (Luckily I do a graphics check on the floor pc control too)
