Helix bore bug?

I just tried my feedmill in the helical bore toolpath and found that it stays up the radius of the cutter.

ie. helix bore depth= z-1.75

corner radius on the cutter .118

actual depth of the program was z-1.632

if anything I would have thought it would go deeper by the corner radius but I prefer that it just let my choose the depth.

Has anyone else seen this?

I almost had the tip comp bite me on a pocket toolpath yesterday. Somehow the default operation parameter mysteriously switched to Center comp instead of tip comp. This caused my pocket toolpath to cut .03 deeper than it should have (.03 CR on the tool). Thank god for verify. I cut the part in Verify, saved the STL stock, and set my stock display in MGP to the newly cut STL file. Sure enough, .03 too deep.
