  • 3 weeks later...

Ok. I have 2 icons for mastercam, 1 for lathe and 1 for mill.

C:McamX2mastercam.exe /M

C:McamX2mastercam.exe /L

both work on opening the mill or lathe package but the default in MC is for lathe and when I open the mill package I have mill3 but the toolbar is for lathe. I tried

C:McamX2mastercam.exe /M configthreept82.mtb

and a few other combos but I can't seem to get it to work.

What I'm looking for is when I open mill for the my mill toolbar to open with it and for lathe for my lathe toolbar to open. Any help would be good.

I'm going Bug-F*%ky. cuckoo.gif

Rather than using /M or /L, just make a config file for each machine that you want to use on startup. Each config file would specify which product to startup with along with the default machine. Use the MMD file to specify which toolbar state to use with each machine.

The command line would then look like this.

C:McamX2mastercam.exe C:McamX2configthreept82.config
