is everybody having problems backplotting

in version X2? I've messed around with all

the switches i can find. it's slow, jumpy,

seems like it can't keep up itselfe.

aslo, once you open the window you can't zoom in and out like you can in 9, a very nice feature for looking at banghead.gifbanghead.gif certain portions of part while plotting.

vesion 9 works 50 times better.

is this a step backwards for anybody? everybody?

X2 backplotting is way better than V9. If you are running a low end gaming card you may have troubles. If you are running a good Cad/Cam card there are settings that need tweaking.

If you are running Vista, you are probably screwed

Before we can give you any constructive info,

we need to know what video card/OS you are running.

When I backplot there is a flashing or trailing tool image, why?

If you are using an Nvidia Quadro FX graphics card, and are experiencing a flashing or trailing diplsay when using Backplot, you need to disable a setting for the graphics card. Go to the graphics card settings, and to the “Open GL Settings”. Deselect the “Use unified back/depth buffer” setting. This will fix the problem. Note: The standard Nvidia FX card does not have this setting.
