Create Line Multi

Drawing lines Multi there is no chance to put values in like creating a sepperate line?

 

Create a Vertical line Multi from the Origin 25mm in length, you can't type in a value before it creates the next line which is attached to it.

I'm not sure if this work for you, but I set my autocursor angular setting to 15 degrees. Click multiline-origin-then type in a length and the line will pivot around at that length. Let autocursor snap to 90 degrees and continue clicking away. I imagine the same will work with hor/vertical autocursor. Something to try.

 

It seems that when you select the horizontal or vertical icon from the ribbon bar, it unselects multiline.

With Multi line selected create a Hor or Ver Line any length. Once you click the end point there is no way to change the line length. It does not have a live status where it can be edited.

 

The next line just begins from where ever you click on the screen.

of course it doesn't have the 'live status', at that point you are already on the next entity. I use Multi-line mostly for drawing when I have the numbers I want to type in. i.e. drawing a 100mm square, hit space bar for fastpoint, type 0,0 enter, space bar, 100 enter, space bar, Y-100 enter, space bar and so on.

Select origin, THEN type in the length before clicking the endpoint. Again, I don't think you can use horizontal or vertical icon from the ribbon bar. See if you can get it with autocursor settings. I did.

If you create a line multi and type coordinates

ie: x1y2 x3y1 x4y2 you will get a line

from x1y2 to x3y1 to x4y2 etc. if you only

give it one value for x or y it will draw

a horizontal or vertical line using the

previous x or y value - you must have default

fast point mode ste in autocursor for this to

work
